Editorial Committee of the Journal of Information Processing
Journal of Information Processing (JIP) is pleased to announce the call for papers for a special issue of "Collaboration Technologies and Network Services that Enrich and Secure Our Society".
EIn the Great East Japan Earthquake, information and communication technologies (ICT) such as the Internet, twitter, and so on played a great role for information sharing. In recent years, by rapid popularization of mobile terminals such as smart phones into our lives, new types of collaborative systems or network services emerge. On the other hand, the great disaster brought up new challenges for ICT research and development. Popularization of mobile terminals brought new types of problems such as security and/or privacy.
Based on the background, it is required that research and development is promoted for constructing collaboration systems or network services to enrich or secure various scenes such as our society/community, daily life, business, education/learning, and so on.
In this special issue, the editorial committee of the journal is seeking paper submissions on collaboration technologies and network services that enrich and/or secure our society. Topics may cover a wide range of issues associated with collaboration, ubiquitous computing, social computing, information/knowledge sharing, education/learning, network services for disaster prevention/reduction, medical treatment, or social security, secure network services, and communication theories and technologies. Prof. Atsuo HAZEYAMA of Tokyo Gakugei University and Assoc. Prof. Koji TSUKADA of Wakayama University have been invited to act as the guest editor for this special issue.
