The editorial committee carries out a special reviewing process of the special issue of "Entertainment Computing". Four special editors are selected from top researchers of entertainment computing, and they review all submitted papers individually. In the case that one or several papers are recommended for the special issue by one of the special editors, the editorial committee decides on the acceptance of the paper with the recommendation of the special editor.
IPSJ accepts submission of multimedia data (video file, audio file, etc.) along with papers. Because this special issue deals with entertainment, it is recommended to submit multimedia data in order to accurately review the concrete contents of research results that cannot be communicated only on paper and to leave them as research materials that can be permanently referenced. The submitted multimedia data is referenced as necessary in the peer-review process as content to supplement the assertion of the paper. If the paper is accepted, the data will be collected in IPSJ digital library along with the paper.
With regards to the area that deal with “experience” of entertainment, we recommend describing Entertainment Design Asset (EDA) in the paper, but not required. Please refer to the link below for details regarding EDA.
