Call for Papers - Special Issue of "Agent Theory, Technology, and its Applications"

　Journal of Information Processing (JIP) is pleased to announce the call for papers for a special issue of “Agent Theory, Technology, and its Applications”.
Research and development of the agent technology have been actively conducted in broad fields such as information processing, autonomous and cooperative problem solving, and information retrieval/integration on the web. SMASH (Symposium on Multi Agent Systems for Harmonization) has provided opportunities for many researchers in this area to make presentation since 2020. This workshop is jointly supported by SIG-AI,IEICE; SIG-ICS,IPSJ; MACC,JSSST; DOCMAS,JSAI. Because of such reasons, a special section is being planned to further promote research and development of future communications quality.

Journal of Information Processing (JIP) is currently encouraging more submissions from outside of Japan.
The publication fee of any accepted papers will not be charged if all the authors of the paper belong to institutes outside Japan.

(2) All papers will be reviewed. The review process will be carried out in the same manner as regular issues. However, you have shorter time than usual (eight weeks) for preparation of your responses to inquiries.

(3) Submission deadline is February 28, 2023 March 14, 2023. *Deadline extended

(4) The special issue will be published on the J-Stage website in January, 2024. Preprint will be published on the IPSJ Journal in January, 2024.
