Specially Selected Paper

The editorial committee of the JIP (Journal of Information Processing) at the IPSJ is pleased to announce commencement of the JIP Special Paper Selection Process.

(1) The editorial committee of the JIP bestows the JIP Specially Selected Paper certificate on authors of about top 10 percent of outstanding papers in each JIP issue.
(2) Papers in special issues are also potential candidates but Invited Papers or Technical Notes are not eligible.
(3) Selection process results are announced on the IPSJ website.
(4) Authors chosen in this process receive a JIP Specially Selected Paper certificate.
(5) These selected papers are then recommended to the IPSJ Best Paper Award Committee as award candidates.
