  • IPSJ Magazine Distributed for Free

    ＊ IPSJ Magazine distribution begins from the next month of approval of membership.  IPSJ Magazine is written only in Japanese.

    -PDF files of articles can be viewed freely by registering to Digital Library as a member. It's free.
    -Paper copies are sent to registered mail address. For addresses outside of Japan, they are sent by sea mail (requiring no additional fee) or air mail (requiring additional fee).

  • Year's Subscription to Journal

    -Only a member can subscribe to Journal by paying subscription fee of 5,000(JPY) (For overseas members, 8% sales tax is exempted.)
    -There is no paper copy distribution.
    -PDF files of papers can be viewed by registering to Digital Library as a member. (Subscribers of Journal only)
    -Journal of Information Processing (JIP) is open and free.

  • Join SIGs

    -A member can join in SIG’s by paying member discounted registration fee for a member. The details are as follows⇒2020 The Special Interest Group
    -A student member can register to one SIG for free.
    -A SIG member can participate in technical meetings held by the SIG for free and access their web sites.
    -A SIG member can participate in events such as symposia held by the SIG with discounted participation fee for a member of the SIG.
    -A SIG member can view PDF files of the IPSJ SIG Technical Reports or IPSJ Transaction on the SIG for free by registering to Digital Library as a member and a SIG member.

  • Paper Submission

  • Integrated Digital Library

    -Integrated Digital Library is a service to provide all the article and papers of IPSJ publications online. This service is provided only for a individual member with registration fee of 10,000(JPY) . (For overseas members, 8% sales tax is exempted.) 
    -A registered member of Integrated Digital Library can view all articles and papers described as “DLIB: member : \0-” in Digital Library for free.

  • Student Services Program "Microsoft DreamSpark"

    -This service is applied only for student members.
    -IPSJ provides a brochure containing authorization code which is necessary for acquiring complimentary software from Microsoft Corp.

  • Special privilege for a member promoted from a student member

    -There is a special privilege for a member promoted from a student member only for the year of the promotion.
    -This privilege is eligible for a member who had paid annual dues for the promotion year.
    -Complimentary vouchers for National Convention and Forum on Information Technology (FIT) are provided.
    -From publications of IPSJ, one book can be chosen as a free gift.

  • Participation in Events

    -Discounted fee for a member is applied when a member participates in following events.

    • FIT, National Convention, Special Interest Group, Symposium, Consecutive Seminar

    -Discounted fee for a member is applied when a member participates in events held by following societies. 

    •  The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan
    •  The Institute of Electronics Information and Communication Engineers
    •  The Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan
    •  The Institute of Image Information and Television Engineers

    *For all cases, discounted fee for a member is applied when there is no exceptional setting for participation fees and only when there is discounted fee for a member setting.

  • Life member

    -A member who has been a member for more than 40 years can apply to a life member.
    -Life members are eligible for member dues discount. 

  • Enrollment Fee Exemption Agreement

    -A member is eligible for exemption of enrollment fee for joining in societies listed below by submitting a membership certificate issued by IPSJ.
    •  The Institute of Electrical Engineers of Japan
    •  The Institute of Electronics Information and Communication Engineers
    •  The Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan
    •  The Institute of Image Information and Television Engineers

  • Regular Membership Fee Exemption Agreement

    -How to apply
    Please inform us of the following.
    • Membership Number
    • Name
    • Name of the affiliated society you belong to
    • Membership Number for the affiliated society

    -Submit a copy of membership certificate of the society with application of discounted membership fee (only for the first year).
    -You cannot get more discount even if you are a member of two or more affiliated societies. When an application is submitted in August or later, discounted membership fee is applied from next fiscal year.
    -An application for discounted membership fee should be submitted for each fiscal year.

  • Sale of Books

    -Member discounted prices are applied when a member purchases publications of IPSJ.
    -Member discounted prices are applied when a member purchases publications of societies listed below.

    •  The Institute of Electronics Information and Communication Engineers
    •  The Illuminating Engineering Institute of Japan
    •  The Institute of Image Information and Television Engineers
    *For all cases, member discounted prices are applied when member discounted prices are set and there are no special conditions regarding purchase of the publications.
